Medication TechnicianAt Clark Retirement at Keller Lake, we offer a seamless transition between levels of care, giving our residents access to comprehensive support and services as their needs evolve. Our Medication Technicians play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive safe, compassionate, and person-centered care every day.As a Medication Technician, you won't simply assist with medications — you'll help maintain a safe and nurturing environment while supporting residents' daily health and comfort. You'll work closely with licensed nurses and care staff to administer medications, observe residents' conditions, document changes, and communicate with residents and families as needed. Stores, distributes and documents all prescription and over the counter medication given to residents per protocols and as ordered by the physicianCommunicate appropriate information to family membersProvide treatments, changes dressings, checks blood sugars, oxygen and vitals and other medical interventions according to physicians ordersMaintain all necessary documentation and charting in a timely and accurate mannerAssume the role of Care Partner (resident aide) as neededTake direction from Supervisor, asks for help when needed, supports team membersReport changes in conditions or behaviors to nurses in a timely mannerShift Details:We are primarily hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift. We do not have 1st shift openings at this time. Shift hours are 3:00pm - 11:00pm and 11:00pm - 7:00am.Who You Are:Have a passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow established medication administration protocols accuratelyCommunicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and team members, and you demonstrate patience, empathy, and reliability in all interactions.Take pride in supporting residents' well-being, maintaining high standards of safety, and contributing to a positive, collaborative care environmentClark Retirement is an equal opportunity employer.
