Job description

Apply clinical and biostatistical expertise to create rigorous, verifiable reasoning assignments that help train and evaluate advanced AI systems. This remote contractor role centers on interpreting complex medical visualizations and translating that analysis into clear, expert-level questions and explanations. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities Interpret Kaplan-Meier curves, forest plots, ROC curves, hazard-ratio plots, and related clinical or epidemiological visualizations with professional accuracy.

Create objective, multi-step analytical questions from complex visual data that require quantitative reasoning and detailed interpretation beyond basic data extraction.

Provide precise, unambiguous answers with comprehensive step-by-step explanations covering calculations, statistical inferences, and clinical judgment.

Use medical and biostatistical terminology accurately, including units, scales, confidence intervals, p-values, and chart annotations.

Design reasoning tasks involving graphical interpretation, comparisons, calculations, trend analysis, and data interpolation while avoiding subjective or ambiguous language.

Collaborate reliably with remote project teams through written and verbal communication, incorporate feedback, and maintain consistent quality.

Qualifications Bachelor''s, Master''s, or Doctoral degree, including MD, MPH, PhD, or equivalent, in Medicine, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a closely related clinical or quantitative discipline.

At least two years of professional, academic, or research experience interpreting clinical trial data, survival analyses, or epidemiological visualizations.

Advanced ability to interpret axes, legends, units, scales, confidence intervals, and statistical annotations in medical charts, including Kaplan-Meier, forest, and ROC curves.

Strong multi-step quantitative reasoning, chart-interpretation accuracy, and skill in designing unambiguous analytical tasks.

Ability to explain clinical or biostatistical reasoning clearly in high-quality written and spoken English.

Bilingual English proficiency and, ideally, proficiency in a second language relevant to medical or research practice.

Experience with technical documentation, scientific publishing, assessment or analytical-task development, structured data annotation, benchmark-question creation, or technical reporting for clinical, research, AI, or medical-model-development work is preferred.

Work Terms Remote contract engagement.

Compensation $25 to $50 per hour.
