Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice Defense (Remote)

A highly respected boutique medical malpractice defense firm in Santa Monica is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its tight‑knit, collaborative team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants real litigation experience, hands‑on mentorship, and meaningful responsibility early in their career.

Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation

$110K‑$200K DOE + Bonuses

Duties

Draft and argue motions; handle significant writing and research

Conduct discovery and manage smaller cases independently

Collaborate on larger, high‑exposure matters

Participate in case strategy and trial preparation

Salary

Salary: $110,000‑$200,000 (DOE)

🧮 Billables: ~150 hours/month (1800 annually)

Desired Skills and Experience

CA BAR

JD from an ABA accredited school

Ability to work remotely

1-8 years of civil litigation experience (med‑mal preferred but not required)

Strong writing and research skills

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive

Thrives in a collaborative environment

Desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of work
