Are you an emergency medicine physician looking to make an impact at a facility that has been serving the community for over 20 years? Join TeamHealth at Memorial Healthcare's free standing emergency department, part of the large South Broward Hospital District! Located in South Florida just minutes from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, this state-of-the-art, free standing ED is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The ED provides treatment for minor injuries and illnesses to the residents of South Broward as a convenient alternative to a hospital emergency department. This facility does not receive EMS patients.
Position Highlights 68,000 annual patient visits
32 beds
48 hours of physician coverage 3 days a week, and 40 hours a day of physician coverage 4 days a week
No major trauma
20-30% pediatric cases
Fast track
Various shift times available 5pm - 2am
8am - 5pm
7am - 7pm
7pm - 7am
9am - 6pm
6pm - 3am

Pembroke Pines, Florida, is conveniently located just south of Fort Lauderdale and north of Miami on the sparkling southeast coast. Facility Description
24-hour Urgent Care Center is a state-of-the-art, free-standing facility affiliated with the nationally recognized Memorial Healthcare System with 68,000 patients annually. The Urgent Care Center provides treatment for minor injuries and illnesses to the residents of South Broward as a convenient, less expensive alternative to a hospital emergency department. Staffed by expert physicians, this is a free-standing emergency department that does not receive EMS patients. TeamHealth has been providing services at this facility since May 1997.
