Job description
Supportive Housing Unit On-Site SupportProvides on-site support within Red Rock BHS supportive housing units.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesPerforms various support duties in relation to housing demands. These duties include but are not limited to assisting members with move in/move out, submitting various informational notices to residents, assisting with house safety and maintenance checks, greeting and overseeing work of contractors or vendors performing specialized maintenance services, and monitoring for lease agreement adherenceAssists residents, as needed and as appropriate, with any questions, housing requests and/or problemsEmpowers residents and monitors possible danger signals regarding suicide/homicide and safetyInitiates first aid in emergency situations in accordance with agency policyConsults with supervisor or on-call staff in the event of an emergencyMaintains confidentiality and informs clients of rights and obtains necessary authorization for obtaining and releasing informationMaintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatmentAttends all scheduled Housing meetings, staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn community housing philosophy/standards, and agency policies & procedures; participates in on-going in-service trainingSupports and assists with the facilitation of Care Plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health TeamPerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentGeneral skill in exercising independent judgment, tact, patience, and understanding; maintaining effective working relationships with members, other staff, and the communityAvailability to work flexible hours and be on call as neededValid Oklahoma Driver's License, acceptable driving record, proof of auto insurance coverageExperience working with adults with mental illness in a community setting and/or community mental health agency preferredCommitment to the mission of Red Rock BHSPhysical RequirementsMust have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of timeMust have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 poundsAbility to travel approximately 10% of the timeAbility to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printerBenefitsWe pay a generous portion of your Health InsuranceLow-cost Dental and Vision InsuranceRetirement Plan with employer contributions equal to 5% of annual salaryStudent Loan Repayment OptionsNo Cost Employee Assistance Plan3 Weeks Paid Time-Off (increases annually between years 2-10)9 Paid Holidays1 Floating Holiday to use at your discretion.4 Rest and Relaxation Days3 days of Education Leave4 hours of Volunteer LeaveEligible for Pay Increases and Bonuses AnnuallyEmployer Paid Long-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesRed Rock Behavioral Health Services does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, age, marital/familial status, sexual orientation, or disability.
