Mental Health ClerkMO, Jefferson City - Jefferson City Correctional Center - JEFFERSON CITY, MO 65101Position Type: Full-Time Job Shift: Day Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Category: Administrative & ClericalPay rates from $17/hr. to $20/hr. depending on years of experience!Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Clerk to join our team at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri.The Mental Health Clerk is responsible for the routine processing of documents in the Mental Health Department, according to prescribed procedures. This includes accurately creating, organizing, scanning, faxing, and/or filing files to facilitate retrieval, review, and processing. Additional responsibilities include reviewing all documents/transactions for correctness and completeness and taking any necessary action to appropriately address any problems, errors, or deficiencies. General clerical duties such as maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences are also assigned to the Mental Health Clerk.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentOne year of medical records/medical office experience preferredCurrent CPR and Basic Life Support Certification.Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferredComputer/Data Entry experienceAbility to obtain security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: Full-Time, Day shift; 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pmWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...
