Bridge to Peace Counseling, LLC was established in May 2020. Currently, it has one owner and one practitioner. There is a waiting list and a minimum of 2 inquiries per day that are either added to the list or referred out. Bridge to Peace Counseling, LLC is committed to helping clients to become the best version of themselves using a variety of different therapy approaches including Christian counseling.

Role Description
We are looking for full-time Mental Health Counselors to work on a contract basis at Bridge to Peace Counseling, LLC located in 2 locations: Chesterton and Valparaiso, IN. This is a position that is paid on a percentage basis and is available to people who are wanting to either start their on practice or to stay on permanently.
The role involves providing therapy or counseling to clients in a one-on-one or group setting, applying clinical methods based on client's needs using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, EMDR or other evidence-based approaches. The counselor will document clients progress and maintain their confidential records.
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in clinical mental health counseling or a related field
Licensure as a mental health counselor or licensed professional counselor in the state of Indiana or has an LMHC-A and needs supervision
Strong inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to provide support and consoling to clients in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner
Competence in evidence-based practices for treating mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality and/or mood disorders.
Knowledge of ethics and legal guidelines for mental health counseling
Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week/hours are flexible. xavwley
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education as required by the state of Indiana.
