nnLocation: Clearwater, FL

nnStatus: Full time, Hourly
n
nnShift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
n
nnWeekend Work: Every Other
n
nnOn Call: No
n
n nThe Mental Health Technician Responsibilities:
nnnProvides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.
n
nnProvides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
n
nnPromotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
n
n nRequired Certification/Licensures:
nnnBLS (Basic Life Support)
n
nnCNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred
n
nnPatient Care Technician - preferred
n
n nRequired Education:
nnnHigh School or Equivalent
n
nnAssociate's degree in related field - Preferred
n
nnBachelor's degree in related field- Preferred
n
n nRequired Experience:
nn6 months – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field
