This care is provided through direct and indirect physical and verbal interactions with clients, modeling appropriate behaviors for clients, and monitoring daily client activities. She/he screens incoming clients/visitors for contraband and inventories all client property as well as monitoring surveillance equipment. The Safety Specialist controls access to the center, answers/directs incoming clients, conducts physical security checks of the center grounds, and responds to fires and/or emergencies at the center. Maintains vigilance over the general milieu within the facility to facilitate quality client care, optimum facility operations and preserve the safety of all therein.Division & Program Overview:Facility & Setting: 24/7 walk-in outpatient urgent careClinical Services Rapid mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and medication supportLength of Stay: Short-term stabilization (up to 24 hours)Population Served: Serves up to 12 adults (18 + ) and 6 adolescents (ages 13-17)
