Job description
Mental Health Technician - Per DiemPerforms the functions of a mental health technician in carrying out all assignments given by the RN in charge of Emergency Department. Is accountable for all patient care she/he gives in the Emergency Department. Is responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Care and for promoting teamwork among co-workers.Minimum RequirementsGood physical and mental health;Minimum of grammar school education, high school or equivalent desirable;Genuine interest in welfare of ill/ mentally ill;Willingness to work under close supervision;Ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively;Specific orientation and training for Emergency Department.
