Job Summary We are seeking a fully licensed and credentialed Mental Health Therapist to join a currently small, but growing psychiatric practice. Our practice opened in 2017 as a 100% self-pay practice. We currently adding insurance panels. Comfortable office space in the South Park area, EMR, psychiatric collaboration, and practice support provided for negotiable percentage split of practice income. In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities
Perform intake assessments
Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
Create individualized treatment plans for each client
Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
Perform regular wellness checks
Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
What we are looking for
One to two yrs of previous experience working as a mental health therapist preferred
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred to and some experience with psycho-dynamic treatment modalities.
Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
