Under a board-approved supervisor, provides clinical and consultative services to prevent, assess, evaluate, and treat mental emotional or behavioral disorders.
Responsibilities
Provides counseling and case management services for patients using evidence-based practices.
Performs crisis interventions as needed.
Coordinates with referring providers and other professionals, family members as needed, to engage patient in care.
Provides liaison between clinical team, clinical leadership, and other professionals involved in the patient's care.
Consults and assures continuity of care, conveys assessment findings, and implements therapeutic plans.
Prepares reports and other documentation in accordance with good clinical practice and institutional standards.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge and clinical experience with mental health issues.
Demonstrated ability to provide diagnostic assessment.
Ability to establish and maintain trust and rapport.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Required Skills
Up to one (1) year related experience.
