Job Description

Company Description Pierce Counseling & Mental Health Collective provides comprehensive, compassionate, and holistic mental health services to individuals and families in a safe and inclusive environment. The organization offers evidence-based therapeutic treatments, wellness programs, and supportive resources in one convenient location, integrating mind, body, and spirit in care. A collaborative team of licensed providers works together to reduce stigma around mental health and promote resilience and emotional well-being across the community. Pierce Counseling & Mental Health Collective serves children through older adults, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, and emphasizes healing, self-discovery, and complete well-being. The collective culture centers on community engagement, education, and the belief that "peace happens inside out."

Role Description The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy to clients across the lifespan in a compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and coordinating care with other providers and community resources as needed. The therapist will use evidence-based interventions to address a range of mental health concerns, facilitate psychoeducation and skills-building, and support clients in setting and achieving therapeutic goals. This is a contract role with a hybrid schedule, meaning the position is located in Mandeville, LA with a combination of in-person sessions at the collective and some work-from-home flexibility for telehealth services, documentation, and case collaboration. The role also involves participating in team meetings, consultations, and occasional community outreach or educational activities that align with the collective's mission.
