Our client is one of the most respected and fastest-growing builders in the mission critical space and is seeking an Electrical MEP Superintendent to lead field execution on some of the most advanced data center campuses in North America.
This is not a standard commercial construction role.
You will be leading complex MEP systems execution on large-scale hyperscale, colocation, AI, cloud, and critical infrastructure projects where schedule, quality, commissioning, and operational readiness matter.
This opportunity offers an aggressive compensation package including strong base salary, premium travel package, per diem, rotation home schedule, vehicle support, and long-term growth into General Superintendent / Operations leadership.
Position Summary
The Electrical MEP Superintendent will lead all field execution associated with Electrical, low voltage, Controls, Commissioning coordination, and startup readiness across large mission critical projects.

QA/QC & Safety Leadership
The role requires someone comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with extremely high expectations around schedule certainty and technical execution.
Responsibilities
Field Leadership
Lead day-to-day field operations for all MEP scopes.
Coordinate electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning activities.
Drive schedule recovery and sequencing planning.
Conduct pull planning and look-ahead meetings.
Data Center-Semiconductor project Execution
Oversee installation and turnover of:
Medium and low voltage distribution
Switchgear / generators
UPS systems
CRAH / CRAC systems
Chillers and cooling plants
Direct-to-chip / liquid cooling infrastructure
BMS / EPMS integration
Commissioning readiness
Schedule / Delivery
Own milestone completion.
Coordinate inspections and AHJ readiness.
Execute turnover strategy by building, zone, and system.
Minimize punch and maximize first-pass startup success.
Team Leadership
Direct trade foremen and field teams.
Mentor Assistant Supers and PE staff.
Maintain strong subcontractor accountability.
Build culture and maintain pace under pressure.
Ideal Background
8–15+ years construction experience
5+ years Superintendent experience
Data Center, Mission Critical, Semiconductor, Healthcare, Industrial, Advanced Manufacturing preferred
Strong MEP technical depth
Experience with:
Commissioning
QA/QC
Mechanical startup
Electrical energization
Controls integration
Ability to travel nationally
Bonus:
Trade background (electrician, pipefitter, HVAC, controls)
Experience on $100M–$2B+ programs
Experience with owners such as hyperscale, colocation, AI infrastructure
Compensation
Base Salary: $140,000–$200,000+ DOE
