Overview:
n$17.56 /hour
nAs a Team Lead in Merchandise, you will oversee the daily operations of the merchandise department, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for guests. This role involves training and mentoring merchandise associates, managing inventory, and handling guest inquiries and concerns. Additionally, you will ensure that all merchandise areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards, while also coordinating with other departments to maintain efficient operations.
nResponsibilities:
nnnCommunicate daily staffing concerns to Area Leadership and Management
n
nnMaintain positive, professional relationships with all team members, serving as an example
n
nnPerform weekly inventory cycle counts for fast-selling items in Merchandise shops
n
nnAssist guests with purchases and product inquiries, offering personalized recommendations
n
nnMaintain visually appealing merchandise displays and ensure inventory levels are adequately stocked
n
nnProvide quality guest service by offering information in person regarding products and services
n
nnClean and maintain displays, shelves, counters, stock areas, and tables
n
nnReceive, retrieve, organize, and stock shelves, counters, tables, or display racks with products
n
nnMonitor areas to detect theft and assist in protecting park assets
n
nnAssist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records
n
nnKeep work and guest areas clean, neat, and organize
n
nnPerform other duties as assigned

n nQualifications:
nnnEnergetic and outgoing personality

nnDemonstrate self-sufficiency and the ability to work independently in single-staffed locations

nnProficiency in inventory management systems
n
nnStrong organizational and communication skills

nnAttention to detail and ability to multitask

nnAbility to provide verbal direction and assistance to guests

nnKnowledge of products to determine guests’ needs and desired merchandise
n
nnAbility to provide quality guest service in person and via telephone
n
nnAbility to monitor areas to detect theft and assist in protecting park assets
n
nnAbility to keep work and guest areas clean and organized
n
nnAbility to work as a team player with other team leads, associates, supervisors, and managers
n
nnAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
