nThis is a full time, exempt position
nPosition Summary:
nThis is an intermediate merchandising position which is part of the Ag Services team in Hereford, TX. This role’s primary focus will be customer service, freight logistics and trading feed grains into the Hereford area. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers as well as colleagues from other ADM locations, the handling of logistics, accounting, execution and other customer related issues. As an intermediate member of the merchandising team, you are required to have a higher level of critical thinking, market knowledge and employee development than an entry-level position.

n nDescription of work performed:
nnnBuilds & maintains positive relationships with accounts that bring defined value

nnDevelops a keen understanding and working knowledge of ADM information technology systems

n nKnowledge & Skills:
nnnUniversity degree in agriculture or business (i.e. economics, finance, accounting) and 4 years’ experience in commodity trading. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
n
nnAbility to excel within high-risk fast-paced work environment.

nnAssess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decisions.

nnNegotiation and social skills.

nnAbility to work in a team environment.
n
nnDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal & external customers.

nBase pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
nIf hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
nThe pay range for this position is expected to be between:

n$70,400.00 - $131,200.00
nSalaried Incentive Plan:
nThe total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
