n nDescription and Requirements
nAcosta is currently seeking motivated and career-minded candidates to join its national network of retail merchandisers. We owe our continued success to the hard-working, intelligent, and innovative people who implement our retail programs every day.
nThe Merchandiser Mandate Retail Service is responsible for effectively working in teams to perform reset and remodel work, including, but not limited to, reading and implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in a team situation. They must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.
nWhat will you do?
nnnRead and follow plan-o-grams to accurately complete reset and remodel projects while demonstrating knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology.
n
nnMove and clean shelves, install racks and fixtures, display merchandise properly, place shelf strips and tags correctly, check date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and process pack-outs, restocks, and reorders.

nnPartner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and maintain strong working relationships.

nnReport observations and issues to the Mandate Senior Area Manager or Mandate Area Manager.
n
nnUtilize web-based applications to manage work schedules, accept assignments, access documentation, record start/completion times, track mileage and expenses, record time and attendance, and complete training activities.
n
nnPrepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work accurately and efficiently.
n
nnFollow safety procedures, demonstrate awareness of surroundings, and proactively alert management to unsafe acts or conditions.

n nExperience and Qualifications:
nnnReliable transportation and the ability to travel to multiple store locations.
n
nnMinimum 1-year experience reading and using plan-o-grams; retail and reset experience preferred.
n
nnAbility to maintain a professional appearance.
n
nnAccess to a computer with internet, email, and printing capabilities.
n
nnComfortable using technology, including smartphones and handheld devices.
n
nnAble and willing to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
n
nnStrong interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills.
n
nnAbility or willingness to operate basic hand tools and equipment, including hammer, screwdriver, drill, and case cutter.
n
nnAble to safely climb and stand on a step stool or ladder as needed.
