Compensation: This is an exempt position with a monthly salary of $4,500 during the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the base rate increases to $5,000 per month.

Role Summary: The Merchant Consultant is the first point of contact for our clients, serving as a brand ambassador to introduce our business solutions. An ideal candidate is goal‑driven, resilient, and people‑oriented.

Responsibilities:

Generate leads, make cold calls, and prospect potential clients

Conduct in‑person meetings to determine customer needs and present customized payment, merchant financing, and marketing solutions

Perform pricing analysis by assessing clients’ payment processing statements and initiate proposals accordingly

Follow up with potential merchants by reviewing product features, benefits, and terms

Close sales in a timely and effective manner

Navigate potential lead sources and develop new lead sources

Develop new sales opportunities within the existing client base

Build and maintain relationships with referrals and affiliates

Create and develop marketing programs to increase sales

Qualifications:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of hire (E‑Verify employer)

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related field preferred

2‑3 years of sales and/or customer service experience required

Previous experience in the merchant service industry is an asset

Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail‑oriented, and analytical abilities

Strong desire to succeed in a competitive market and self‑motivated

Able to work independently and driven by results
