Market ManagerThe Market Manager will operate remotely but will require frequent traveling in assigned district. We are seeking individuals local to the nearby areas of El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Lakeside, etc. (East San Diego)The Merchant Payment Services Market Manager is an individual contributor sales position. This role is responsible for business development and sales within the Small Business and Branch Banking segment defined as companies with less than $2.5M in revenues. A successful Merchant Payment Services Market Manager will work to develop a pipeline of opportunities through various ways including self-sourced prospecting and partnering with Business Banking Specialists and Branch colleagues. This position will focus sales efforts in the small business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting, creating, and managing a pipeline of opportunity specific to companies with less than $2.5M in revenuesExecute merchant sales strategies in the Small Business segmentExecute successful sales campaignsProvide activity reporting and progress toward objectives to leadershipGrow and maintain productive partner relationships with key stakeholders and bank partnersBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceThree to five years of relevant sales experienceAbility to travelPreferred Skills/ExperienceStrong sales acumen and pipeline management skillsConsiderable knowledge and experience in payment processingProblem escalation and resolution skillsExcellent customer service and follow up skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsTeam player with excellent collaboration skillsA well-established pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to being successful in this roleAbility to manage and execute multiple priorities effectivelyProficient in the use of Salesforce to manage opportunityMerchant Services selling experience strongly preferredPoint of Sale Software and Systems experience preferredBilingual Spanish PreferredOur approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
