Metal FabricatorOur customer in Richmond, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring Metal Fabricators for full-time 1st shift positions. As a Metal Fabricator, you will perform various manufacturing tasks, operate equipment, and contribute to efficient production processes.Responsibilities of the Metal FabricatorUse various tools, equipment, and machines to fabricate metals as part of the manufacturing process prior to assembly.Gather required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job on the work orderProperly position metal in machines, securing it prior to fabricationUse punch press, drill press, and band saw for metal fabrication as well as other handheld and power tools as neededMeasure, cut, and fabricate metal according to specifications, blueprints, or directionsMaintain, organize, and clean equipment, parts, and work area as neededRequirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in welding/fabricating requiredAbility to use various hand toolsBasic design and blueprint readingCapable of working under general supervision based on guidance and direction provided by team membersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailBasic understanding of mathematicsPay for Metal FabricatorStarting at $20/hour.BenefitsHealth insurance.Paid time off.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Type: 1st Shift, Full-timeSchedule: Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm.
