Metal Finisher / Belt GrinderLocation: Dover, PA Pay: $18.00 per hourPosition OverviewWe are hiring Metal Finishers / Belt Grinders to join a busy metal fabrication and manufacturing operation in Dover, PA.This is a hands-on production role focused on improving the surface quality and appearance of fabricated metal components. You will use belt grinding and finishing equipment to remove imperfections, smooth rough areas, deburr edges, and prepare metal parts for the next stage of production or final finishing.This position is a good fit for someone with experience in metal finishing, grinding, polishing, deburring, fabrication, or other hands-on manufacturing work.What You'll DoOperate belt grinders to finish fabricated metal parts and componentsGrind and smooth metal surfaces to remove imperfectionsRemove burrs, rough edges, scratches, and other surface defectsPolish and finish metal parts to meet required appearance and quality standardsVisually inspect parts before and after finishingHandle fabricated metal components safely throughout the production processIdentify and report defects or quality concernsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow established production, quality, and safety proceduresWork with other members of the production and finishing teams to keep work moving efficientlyRelevant ExperiencePrevious experience in any of the following areas is helpful:Metal finishingBelt grindingMetal polishingDeburringSurface finishingSheet metal fabricationManufacturingGrindingGeneral metalworkingProduction finishingCandidates with experience as a Metal Finisher, Belt Grinder, Grinder, Polisher, Deburring Technician, Finishing Technician, Fabrication Technician, or Production Finisher may be a strong fit.What We're Looking ForComfortable working with hand-operated grinding and finishing equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to identify surface imperfections and produce a consistent finishGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityDependable and able to work effectively in a production environmentAbility to follow work instructions and safety proceduresAble to work independently and as part of a manufacturing teamIf you enjoy hands-on manufacturing work and have experience with grinding, polishing, deburring, metal finishing, or fabrication, apply today for one of our available Metal Finisher / Belt Grinder openings in Dover, PA.
