Metal Finishers - 3rd ShiftMetal Finisher – 3rd ShiftFull-TimeKings Mountain, NCStarting at $20.00 per hour (DOE) + $2.50 Shift DifferentialSunday – Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:30 AMFridays and Saturdays as production needs dictateWe are seeking experienced Metal Finishers to join our manufacturing team in Kings Mountain, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, grinding, sanding, and finishing metal components to ensure they meet quality specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with metal finishing processes, takes pride in producing quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGrind, sand, smooth, and finish metal surfaces to meet production and quality standardsOperate DA (Dual Action) grinders/sanders, dent pullers, dollies, grinders, and other metal finishing equipmentInspect parts for defects and verify proper surface preparation before the next stage of productionRead and follow work instructions and quality specificationsMaintain consistent quality while meeting daily production goalsKeep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazardsFollow all company safety policies and quality proceduresAssist with additional production duties as assignedRequired QualificationsPrevious experience with grinding, sanding, or metal finishingMust have experience using a DA (Dual Action) grinder/sander, dent puller, and dollyAbility to safely operate hand and power tools used in metal finishingStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 poundsReliable transportation and excellent attendanceAbility to work required overtime as production demandsPreferred QualificationsExperience in manufacturing, automotive collision repair, fabrication, or body repairExperience using measuring tools and performing quality inspectionsExperience reading work instructions or blueprintsPrevious production or industrial manufacturing experienceCore CompetenciesMetal Finishing • Grinding • Sanding • DA Sander Operation • Dent Pulling • Dolly Work • Surface Preparation • Manufacturing • Hand & Power Tools • Quality Inspection • Safety Compliance • Attention to Detail • Teamwork • Time Management
