Job description
Metal PolisherRoss Metal Fabricators, a leader in the design and manufacture of industrial mixing and blending equipment, is seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to join our growing team.The ideal candidate will have experience working with steel and stainless-steel components and possess a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. This position is responsible for preparing, grinding, deburring, and polishing components to meet required surface finish specifications.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeburr, grind, and polish steel and stainless-steel parts and componentsOperate pneumatic and electric grinding and polishing hand tools safely and effectivelyPerform polishing operations ranging from approximately 70 RA (80 grit) to a 4 RA mirror finishInspect finished parts to ensure surface quality and finish requirements are metFollow established quality and safety proceduresMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentWork collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members to meet production schedules and quality requirementsQualificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to perform visual inspections to ensure parts are completed properlyAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentMust maintain a professional, clean, and organized work areaMust possess basic personal tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, and a tape measureEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience polishing, grinding, and finishing steel and stainless-steel components requiredExperience polishing stainless steel to specified surface finish requirements strongly preferredWhat We OfferMedical insuranceDental and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchVacation and PTO policyPaid holidaysPositive and collaborative work environmentJob TypeFull-timeInterested candidates should submit their resume to
