nFull Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

nFort Loudoun Medical Center , part of Covenant Health, is an 87,000-square-foot hospital serving Loudon County and surrounding communities. nPosition Summary:
nThe Rehab Services Manager is responsible for daily operations, management and leadership of care or service delivery at patient care units or sites.
nResponsibilities
nnnAdvanced clinical practice – including evaluation and specialized treatment of patients. Serves as clinical resource as needed.
n
nnPerforms patient evaluations (initial, progress, and discharge evaluations), establishes treatment plans, makes recommendations, and sets goals in accordance with patient needs and evidence based practice.
n
nnMeets established targets for passive/active treatment ratios as applicable.
n
nnInvolves patient and family in treatment, education and goal setting. Coordinates with other medical personnel regarding patient’s progress, needs and discharge planning.
n
nnDemonstrates knowledge and competency including providing for age-specific needs of the population served.
n
nnDevelopment, implementation and evaluation of standards of care and evidence based practice:
n
nnEvidence base practice protocols
n
nnClinical outcomes analysis and communication to team
n
nnNew policy development and implementation
n
nnProcess improvement/quality improvement
n
nnFacilitates and implements program development
n
nnWorks with team members to establish, analyze, meet and communicate targets/outcomes:
n
nnQuality/outcome measures – clinic and/or individual
n
nnService/patient satisfaction measures – clinic and/or individual
n
nnFinancial/productivity measures – clinic and/or individual
n
nnGrowth measures – clinic and/or individual.
n
nnPeople measures – clinic and/or individual
n
nnPromotes cultural change throughout the program to:
n
nnCreate an environment to optimize patient care
n
nnPromote a shared vision
n
nnEnable and empower staff to implement improvements
n
nnRemove barriers that inhibit their achievement of goals
n
nnAssumes leadership, management, and clinical responsibility for the area.
n
nnCoordination of scheduling taking into account patient needs, workload, and skills/competency of team members.
n
nnMaintains and updates patient documentation in accordance with professional, departmental, organizational, and payer guidelines and timeframes. Maintains established targets for compliance with chart audits
n
nnDevelops and mentors staff - including collaboration with the Director to identify and meet educational/ orientation needs of team members.
n
nnMaintains flow of information needed for team to be effective. Provides consistent, frequent feedback to team members regarding team performance related to established targets/outcomes.
n
nnCoordinates performance appraisals of staff.
n
nnResponds to customer service needs.
n
nnAssumes accountability for conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
n
nnAssumes accountability for payroll accuracy.
n
nnDevelops and implements policies and procedures as necessary.
n
nnMarkets product as defined in the marketing plan, as well as community involvement as applicable.
n
nnAble to temporarily assume responsibilities of other Manager positions as needed.
n
nnFollows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
n
nnPerforms other duties as assigned.
n
n nQualifications
nMinimum Education:
nPhysical, Occupational or Speech Therapist, Clinical Psychologist or CRRN with current TN license as applicable.
nMinimum Experience:
nFour (4) years rehab experience.
nLicensure Requirement:
nMust have and maintain Tennessee State license in above profession. CPR required.
