Job description
Job Title: Microsoft Fabric Technical Lead
Key Responsibilities
Lead the solutioning, design, and implementation of end-to-end Microsoft Fabric data and analytics solutions.
Drive modernization and migration initiatives from legacy data platforms, ETL tools, and data warehouses to Microsoft Fabric.
Define scalable implementation approaches, best practices, standards, and reusable patterns for Fabric adoption.
Provide technical leadership across data ingestion, transformation, storage, semantic modeling, analytics, and reporting components.
Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Lead solution reviews, technical roadmaps, estimation, and delivery planning activities.
Guide teams in implementing Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Medallion Architecture, Real-Time Analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions.
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, governance, and operational requirements.
Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, DevOps adoption, and implementation best practices.
Remain hands-on in critical design decisions, troubleshooting, optimization, and key implementation activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics, and Cloud Data Platforms.
5+ years of experience with Azure Data Platform technologies.
3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Fabric solutions.
Proven experience delivering end-to-end enterprise data platform implementations from ingestion through analytics and reporting.
Strong experience leading modernization and migration programs from legacy/on-premises data platforms to Microsoft Fabric.
Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data engineering best practices, governance, and performance optimization.
Experience leading distributed delivery teams and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on execution.
