Job description
Microsphere Manufacturing TechnicianJoin our dynamic team as a Microsphere Manufacturing Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the production of drug-loaded polymer microspheres. Work alongside innovative professionals on a varied shift schedule, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in the medical device industry.ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation, mixing, inspection, filtration, and documentation of solutions used in production.Prepare solutions by weighing, mixing, heating, cooling, sampling, and filtration.Operate mixers, jacketed tanks, TCU, peristaltic pumps, ultrasonic baths, and balances.Perform in-process inspections and manage environmental controls.Accurately maintain batch records and controlled documentation.Follow line clearance, cleaning, PPE, and safety protocols.Escalate deviations or out-of-spec results to supervision or engineering teams.Operate machinery to produce medical devices according to specifications.Update manufacturing instructions and job documentation for traceability.Prepare products for packing and sterilization, and conduct product inspections using a microscope.Perform setup, verification, and teardown of equipment before and after processing.Engage in manufacturing tasks including fabrication, in-process testing, and packaging.Document production activities in manufacturing lot history records.Clean production equipment and areas.Analyze data as needed and troubleshoot product or process-related issues.Work with toxic chemicals and powders in a lab environment.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly, cleanroom environments, and working with medical devices and pharmaceuticals.Proficiency in laboratory and chemical handling, with 2 years of experience working with chemicals.Knowledge of GMP, aseptic techniques, SOP, packaging, and sanitization.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum High School Diploma or GED.Basic math skills and comfortability working with toxic chemicals.Why Work Here?Be part of a forward-thinking company that is revolutionizing healthcare through innovative technology and advanced drug-device combination products. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
