Job description
The Systems Engineer is responsible the applications infrastructure across all networks. Technical support to make application security compliant. Responsible for tech precepts implementation and contractually responsible to be on call 24/7.
Responsibilities
SystemDesign & Implementation: Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Monitoring& Maintenance: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability
Security& Redundancy: Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans
Automation& Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support
TechnologyEvaluation: Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations
Requirements
TS/SCI FSP Clearance
Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in system engineering, testing, or DevOps roles
