A law firm seeks a mid to senior level corporate associate specializing in fund formation to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves working with private investment funds, including venture funds, venture studios, incubators, accelerators, and crypto-related funds.
Duties
Organize and advise venture funds and related entities.
Provide counsel on corporate and securities regulations.
Collaborate with team members on fund formation projects.
Requirements
Four to eight years of experience in VC or PE fund formation.
Barred in the state of Washington or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.
Superior academic credentials and top-tier professional experience.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Bar admission in Washington State.
Skills
Strong understanding of corporate and securities regulations.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
