Job description
Middle School Counselo r
LOCATION: Haslett Middle School
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed master's level professional counselor degree OR a limited licensed master's level professional counselor (will work under the supervision of a licensed master's level professional counselor)
Experience in scheduling using Skyward or a similar program
Experience in personal and crisis counseling.
Experience with 504 plans, attendance interventions, and alternative education pathways
Successful previous guidance counseling experience and/or teaching experience
RESPONSIBILITIES Implement Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling in middle school classrooms
Provide Group and individual guidance and counseling for individuals and small groups
Connect families with community resources and supports
Actively participate in the building leadership team
Evaluate, write, and monitor 504 plans for students
Commitment to reflective practices and professional growth
SALARY BENEFITS
