Middle School Special Education Teacher - Virginia Special Education Certification
Annandale, Virginia | $45-$55/hour

What you'll do:
You'll develop and implement IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction, monitor academic and behavioral progress, and create a structured classroom where middle school students can learn and grow. You'll also collaborate with families, behavior staff, related-service professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
What you'll need: Bachelor's degree
Minimum qualifications for a Provisional Certificate in Special Education at the appropriate middle school level or content area
Ability to develop and implement IEPs and differentiated instruction
Ability to support students with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
Strong classroom and behavior-management skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to a compassionate, structured, and respectful learning environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary special education team
Special education experience is preferred but not required.
