MIG/Flux Welder (1st Shift)NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for 1st Shift MIG/Flux Welders in Mansfield, TX. Shift: 1st shift, schedule 7a – 3:30p, Monday – Friday. Pay: $18-20/hour depending on experience.We are seeking dependable and skilled MIG/Flux welders to join our fabrication team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on unique, made to order metal projects and takes pride in producing strong, clean welds. You will be fabricating everything from structural frames to decorative metalwork, requiring precision, adaptability, and a solid understanding of welding techniques.Key responsibilities include:Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required. (NEED TO BE FAMILIAR WITH CARBON STEEL MATERIAL)Fit up parts (MUST BE ABLE TO WELD AND FIT)Read and interpret custom fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbolsSet up welding machines and adjust settings based on material and job specificationsEnsure welds meet strength and visual standards for custom applicationsConduct quality checks and correct weld defects when necessaryDuties:Prepare metal surfaces and components for welding through grinding, cleaning and fittingExecute welds on custom parts, frames, and assemblies with attention to detailPerform post-weld operations such as grinding, blending and finishingAssist in layout and assembly of custom metal structuresHandle both one-off and small-batch production jobs with precisionNSC Staffing values our employees and is committed to offering meaningful employment in safe workplace conditions.
