MIG / TIG WelderBrownsville, ORTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG / TIG Welders for projects located in or around Brownsville, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-$32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Perform MIG and/or TIG welding in a shop fabrication environmentComplete occasional field welding and installation projectsRead and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbolsFit, fabricate, and weld components to specificationsWeld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminumGrind, finish, and inspect completed weldsOperate fabrication equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow OSHA standards and company safety proceduresRequirements:Experience with MIG and/or TIG weldingStrong fabrication and fitting skillsAbility to read blueprints and shop drawingsValid driver's license and reliable transportationWillingness to travel occasionally for short-duration projectsAbility to lift materials and work in both shop and field environmentsStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailPreferred:Structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabricationCarbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum weldingPlasma cutting and oxy-fuel torch operationGrinding, finishing, and weld inspectionMaterial layout and fit-upExperience with aluminumForklift or skid steer experience (preferred but not required)Be safe from fraud!
