MIG/TIG Welder OperatorPerforms precision welding and fabrication to support safe, high-quality manufacturing operations.Penway, Inc., located in Edinburgh, Indiana, is an established manufacturer of custom-fabricated, ASME-coded pressure vessels.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!MIG/TIG Welder Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to support fabrication operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentThis role is responsible for performing high-quality welds, operating fabrication equipment, and ensuring finished products meet specifications and quality standardsPerform MIG and TIG welding on various materials and componentsOperate and assist with fabrication machinery including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and press brakesSet up, adjust, and calibrate machines for productionPerform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipmentInspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracyMIG/TIG Welder Operator Qualifications:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.Previous experience with MIG and TIG welding of at least 1 year is requiredPrevious experience operating fabrication machinery is requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is requiredApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
