MIG/TIG WelderPay: $20/Hr. Hours: Monday–Friday, Guaranteed 40 Hours/Week Location: Shreveport, LA 71109 Schedule: Some weekend work may occasionally be requiredJob DescriptionA local company in Shreveport is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join its team. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek and occasional weekend work based on production needs.The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience, be comfortable working in a fabrication/industrial environment, and be able to consistently produce clean, quality welds.Job DutiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on various metal componentsFabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts and materialsRead and follow blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructionsMeasure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for weldingInspect completed welds for quality and accuracyUse grinders, saws, hand tools, and other fabrication equipmentMaintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organizedFollow established safety procedures and proper PPE requirementsAssist with other fabrication and shop duties as neededQualificationsPrevious MIG and TIG welding experience requiredStrong understanding of welding and fabrication techniquesAbility to read a tape measure and work from measurementsBlueprint reading experience preferredComfortable using grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDependable attendance and reliable transportationWillingness to work occasional weekends when needed
