Job Description Job Description VIP Workforce is seeking experienced MIG/TIG Welders for a metal manufacturer located in Statesville, NC. The role involves working primarily on custom metal work and production line fabrication. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their welding skills in a test during the interview process. This position offers a great schedule, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, from 8am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on custom and production line metal projects
Perform TIG welding according to project specifications
Participate in metal fabrication tasks
Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety standards
Adhere to quality inspection procedures
Required Qualifications
2+ years of welding experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in MIG welding
Proficiency in TIG welding
Knowledge of welding safety practices
Experience with welding inspection
Strong hand-eye coordination
High attention to detail
