ExacTech is the primary supplier for Marine Travelift and Shuttlelift crane structures, providing steady, in-door work throughout the year.ExacTech Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, WI is looking to add 2nd shift welders to our team. As part of a turnkey heavy fabrication team, welders are responsible for welding and fabricating on various steel parts. We are proud to offer in-house job training for all our team members.2nd shift: Monday-Thursday: 3:30PM-2:00AMJob ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding with Metal-cored wires & flux-cored wires to assemble large steel pieces togetherRead and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirementsUse disc grinders to smooth out parts to ensure there are no defects prior to and after weldingDaily use of overhead cranes and jib cranes to place components in position for weldingUphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities aboveAll other duties and responsibilities that are assignedJob QualificationsTechnical diploma in welding is desiredUnderstand pre-heat and post-heat weldments preferredAbility to read blueprints and drawings is a plusAbility to use a tape measurer and convert measurements into decimalsFollowing verbal and written work instructionsRegular attendance requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassistedEmployee Benefits2nd shift has a four-day work week and shift differential payHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance plans available the first of the month following date of hirePaid short-term disability and paternity leave for new parentsEligibility in our 401K benefit plan with company match after 30 days of employmentPaid vacation and holidays available at hireHealth saving account (HSA) plan with employer contributionParticipation in the company's semi-annual discretionary incentive planJob training and advancement opportunitiesOvertime opportunities availableWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action (M/F/Veteran/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation)
