Job description
MIG WelderWe are seeking a MIG Welder to join our team, responsible for welding on various projects including parts for the agricultural, military defense, and material handling equipment industries. The majority of projects will be mild steel materials, but occasional projects could include stainless steel and aluminum materials. You will also be given the opportunity to obtain welding certifications from a CWI while employed where you will gain a AWS D1.1 and State of Wisconsin welding certifications.Shift: 1st shift hours (flexible schedule available)ResponsibilitiesPerform custom and production welding projects on various materialsMIG weld materials ranging 1/8" to 1"+ in thickness based on projectsWork from blueprints to ensure projects are built to specificationsUse overhead cranes to lift and rotate projects during building processLearn to welding mild steel as well stainless-steel and aluminum materials as wellRequirements1-2+ years of welding experience OR Welding Degree requiredExperience working from blueprints and weld symbolsExperience with aluminum preferredWhy Work Here?We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation days that increase with tenure, 401k with profit sharing after one year, and a significant contribution towards health insurance costs. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
