Job description
Mig WelderWe are seeking an experienced and dependable MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Clover, SC. This position is responsible for producing high-quality welds on steel components while maintaining safety, accuracy, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate has previous MIG welding experience, can read blueprints, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on steel components according to specifications and work instructionsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work ordersInspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsOperate welding equipment safely and efficientlyMeasure materials and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring toolsMaintain welding equipment and report maintenance concerns as neededKeep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazardsFollow all company safety policies and quality proceduresAssist with additional fabrication and production duties as assignedRequired QualificationsPrevious MIG welding experience requiredAbility to produce quality welds in a manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable attendance and a positive work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsAbility to read blueprints and work ordersAbility to read a tape measure accuratelyPrevious manufacturing or fabrication experienceWelding certification is a plusCore Competencies MIG Welding • Steel Fabrication • Blueprint Reading • Tape Measure Proficiency • Manufacturing • Quality Inspection • Welding Safety • Hand & Power Tools • Attention to Detail • Teamwork • Reliability • Time Management
