MIG WelderMIG Welding Operator: Perform basic MIG welding, inspect parts, maintain quality standards, and support production goalsColumbus Engineering is a family-owned sheet metal fabrication company delivering quality manufacturing solutions since 1954.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!MIG Welder Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 19.50 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 02:30pm)Responsible for performing basic MIG welding operations, inspecting parts, supporting production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.Perform basic MIG welding according to print specifications using manual operations and fixturing.Check basic dimensions using company-provided measuring tools.Stack finished parts on skids.Report damaged parts and quality defects to leadership.MIG Welder Qualifications:Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to stand for an entire shift.Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally lift more than 40 lbs.Ability to perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.Must have a minimum of 1 year of previous MIG welding experienceApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
