Welder PositionPay: $18.75/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our facility and occasionally at construction/job sites. This role is responsible for assembling mechanical structures and components with precision and attention to quality. The work performed in this position is critical to ensuring durable, safe, and reliable infrastructure and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesCut, fit, and weld metal components using appropriate welding methodsPerform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick (MMA) welding as requiredRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsMeasure and align materials using squares, calipers, and other precision toolsOperate electrical and manual tools such as saws, grinders, and cutting equipmentInspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrityRepair and maintain equipment and welded structures as neededFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspaceWork both independently and with team members to meet production deadlinesQualificationsProven experience as a welderExperience using multiple welding techniques (TIG, MIG, MMA/Stick)Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsFamiliarity with electrical and manual fabrication toolsStrong attention to detail and workmanshipProficient in English (reading and communication)Completion of a relevant welding apprenticeship or formal training program requiredPreferred QualificationsAWS Welding Certification (or similar professional certification)Construction or fabrication shop experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50–70 lbs as neededProlonged standing, bending, kneeling, and working in shop or outdoor environmentsMust wear required PPE (face shield, welding hood, gloves, protective clothing)Work EnvironmentManufacturing facility and occasional construction sitesExposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noiseSafety equipment and PPE required at all times
