Fabricator/Welder - 1st Shift - Mentor, OH$22.00 - $24.00/Hour | Temp-to-HireOur client in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their growing team. This is a 1st shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable and expanding company that values quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.This role is similar to automotive body repair work and includes MIG welding, grinding, finishing, body filler (Bondo) application, and touch-up priming on hollow metal doors and frames.ResponsibilitiesFabricate and weld light-gauge metal componentsCut, notch, fit, and weld materials to precise measurementsRead and follow templates and specificationsGrind, finish, and prepare surfaces for final productionMaintain quality standards and dimensional tolerancesFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesQualificationsCandidates must have:Excellent attendance and reliabilityExperience fabricating and welding light-gauge metals (14, 16, and 18 gauge)MIG welding experienceAbility to read templates and maintain tolerances within 1/8"Ability to keep products square and accurately measure, fit, and weld componentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift materials as neededA positive attitude and willingness to learn and growThe ability to stay focused, patient, and productive in a fast-paced environmentBenefits of Working with Express Employment ProfessionalsHoliday PayVacation PayMedical Benefits401(k)Safety Incentive ProgramsTraining OpportunitiesScholarship ProgramWe are looking to fill this position immediately!
