NSC Staffing Has Immediate Mig Welding OpportunitiesNSC Staffing is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder for a well established HVAC duct manufacturing company in the Grand Rapids area.This is a hands on fabrication role focused on producing rectangular, round, and oval HVAC ductwork, roof curbs, and curb adapters. The ideal candidate has solid MIG welding experience and is comfortable working with light gauge sheet metal and other fabrication equipment.Responsibilities include:MIG weld galvanized, carbon steel, and stainless steelWeld primarily 14 to 26 gauge materialsLayout, fit, and fabricate sheet metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints and shop drawingsPerform hand plasma cuttingOperate equipment such as press brakes, ironworkers, cold saws, chop saws, and hand brakesAssemble HVAC ductwork and related componentsInsulate ductwork, roof curbs, and curb adaptersInspect finished work for quality and accuracyPrepare and palletize completed products for shipmentAssist with general fabrication and assembly duties as neededQualifications include:At least 2 years of MIG welding experienceExperience welding light gauge sheet metal preferredAbility to read blueprints and shop drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicAble to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn additional fabrication processesAbility to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periodsComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work 40 to 50 hours per week, including overtime as neededWhy join NSC Staffing?Competitive pay of $24 to $26 per hourFull time, year round opportunityWeekly payrollOvertime opportunitiesBenefits availablePotential for long term employmentHands on work with a variety of sheet metal fabrication processesOpportunity to develop additional welding and fabrication skillsApply today with NSC Staffing to be considered for this Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder opportunity in Grand Rapids, MI.
