MIG WelderLocation: Kingston OKJob Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryThe MIG Welder is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using MIG (GMAW) welding processes. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum componentsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbolsSet up and operate welding equipment safely and efficientlyInspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsGrind, clean, and prepare materials before and after weldingMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesAssist with general fabrication duties as neededQualificationsProven experience as a MIG Welder or similar roleAbility to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbolsStrong knowledge of MIG welding techniques and equipmentAbility to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares, etc.)Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsReliable attendance and strong work ethicPreferred QualificationsWelding certification (AWS or equivalent)Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentAbility to perform basic fabrication and layout workBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesOpportunities for advancement
