Job description

MIG WelderTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG Welders for projects located in or around Kodak, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Perform weld preparation, MIG welding, and weld finishing operationsManufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, and work instructionsComplete fillet welds in vertical and overhead positions using single and multiple passesInspect welds for compliance with workmanship standardsUtilize weld fillet gauges and other quality control toolsOperate flow meters and welding equipment safely and effectivelyMaintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standardsRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding experienceMust be able to pass a 3G Horizontal Weld TestAbility to pass BC Manual Steel Fillet and CJ Manual Stainless Steel Certification Weld AssessmentsExperience performing vertical and overhead fillet weldsAbility to visually inspect welds for quality and complianceFamiliarity with the use of weld fillet gaugesExperience using flow metersMust be reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-consciousBe safe from fraud!
