Job description
MIG Welder Level IIIThe MIG Welder Level III is responsible for the fabrication and welding of multiple materials to include aluminum, stainless steel, or others as assignedPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSAbility to pass weld testMust be able to lift 50lbsPREFERRED SKILLSAt least 5 years of MIG welding experience in a production environmentAt least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure, identifying, and measuring materialAt least 5 years of experience using weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerancesForklift certificationCORE DUTIESPerform MIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positionsExamine weld for bead size and other specificationsRepair broken or cracked parts and fill holesPosition and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixturesSelect torch, torch tip, filler ford, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of materialPerform all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in weldingHOURS1st shift positionMonday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.Overtime as neededSPECIAL REQUIREMENTSCandidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
