Their shop builds, cuts, welds, grinds, assembles, and powder coats steel products. This is a fast paced manufacturing environment where employees work with structural steel, fabrication equipment, and hand tools.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Mig Welders Details:Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 to $22.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift**Key Responsibilities:***Perform MIG welding processes on a variety of steel components with precision and efficiencyRead and accurately interpret basic blueprints and work instructions to ensure product specifications are metExecute fitting, tacking, and welding operations to assemble parts into finished products.Conduct thorough inspection of welded products to identify and correct any imperfections, ensuring quality standards are maintained.Safely operate grinders and other essential fabrication toolsAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures.Mig Welders Qualifications:**Required Skills & Qualifications:***Proven expertise in MIG welding techniques.Ability to read and comprehend basic blueprints and work instructions.Proficiency in using various fabrication tools, including grindersStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and stooping.The work environment will involve exposure to both warm and cool temperatures.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employmentA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
