CNC Mill MachinistThis role focuses on operating CNC milling machines for an aerospace and defense semiconductor manufacturer, producing precision components to exact specifications. You will interpret blueprints, set up and run CNC mills, and ensure that all parts meet rigorous quality and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components for aerospace and defense semiconductor applications.Interpret and work from engineering blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining of parts.Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and maintain tight tolerances throughout production runs.Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment in optimal working condition.Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and consistency using appropriate measurement tools.Follow established production procedures and safety guidelines throughout all machining activities.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and resolve machining issues.Document production activities and report any deviations, defects, or equipment concerns in a timely manner.Essential Skills35 years of hands-on CNC mill operating experience.Proficiency in CNC milling for aerospace and defense semiconductor manufacturing environments.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong machine operating skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols in a production setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Familiarity with inspection tools and basic quality checks.Ability to work effectively within a team of production professionals.Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional Saturday schedules as needed.Employees benefit from multiple shift options, internal promotion opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Available schedules include 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus the last Saturday of each month, and 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus the last Saturday of each month. Work involves operating CNC mills and related equipment in a structured production setting, following standard manufacturing procedures and safety practices.This is a Permanent position based out of Irving, TX. The pay range for this position is $ - $ /yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.This is a fully onsite position in Irving, TX. This position is anticipated to close on Oct 14, 2026.
