Miller / CompounderThe Production Operator is responsible for overseeing and executing various stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role requires hands-on manipulation of materials, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment. Candidates should have prior manufacturing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.Location: Taunton, MA 02780Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (3rd Shift)Pay Rate: $24.27/hourContract: Temp-to-hireKey QualificationsManufacturing experience required (experience in manufacturing-adjacent roles also considered)Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 35 poundsUnderstanding of workplace safety guidelines and ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE)Core ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operationAccurately record operational and production data on specified formsTransfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using moving equipment and hand toolsVisually and physically examine materials, ingredients, and products to meet quality standardsFollow work orders closely to meet customer specifications and internal processesPerform routine equipment maintenance and identify when further maintenance is neededMonitor machinery indicators and promptly troubleshoot any issuesMix/Compound Blending: Measure ingredients and operate mixing machinery per specificationsTransfer and properly label finished batchesComplete machine cleanouts between different jobsSubmit correctly labeled samples to QA/QC for testingScreening: Operate screening equipment to remove impuritiesCut, weigh, wrap, and label screened materials to meet production requirementsMilling: Prepare, weigh, and process batch materials through rolling cylindersCut and transform materials into thin sheets for extrusion, ensuring proper identification and testingMaintain safety and cleanliness standards at all times, adhering to company policies
