Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating asphalt milling machines in the paving industry
* Must have reliable transportation
* Expert understanding of milling techniques, equipment capabilities, and pavement surface requirements
* Ability to read and interpret project plans, grades, and layout specifications with precision
Responsibilities
* Operate milling machines to remove asphalt and concrete surfaces to specified depths and grades
* Monitor machine performance, material flow, and cutting depth to ensure smooth, even milling
* Adjust milling equipment settings to meet project specifications and surface requirements
* Coordinate with paving crews, trucks, and other equipment operators to maintain workflow
* Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on milling machinery
