Milling CNC MachinistThe Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.Shifts Available: Both 1st and 2nd shifts available! 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, 2nd Shift Hours- 3:30 pm - 3:30 amSign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!ResponsibilitiesMilling CNC Machinist Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate Milling CNC machinesPerform quality inspection on completed partsPerform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performanceComplete tool changesQualificationsMilling CNC Machinist Position RequirementsOperator experience with Milling CNC machinesStrong math background, preferable in machine math/shop mathUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsExperience using a microscopeAbility to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometerMilling CNC Machinist Preferred Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMachining experience with medical components, devices, or instrumentsPrevious experience with tight tolerancesProgramming experience with Milling CNC MachinesExperience with set-up on Milling CNC MachinesExperience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machinesrms Company BenefitsAs a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
